Straw-ctural Design Workshop: Rethinking the Classroom

As part of Open House Festival, Simple Works teamed up with Scale Rule, Obra and Sordo Madaleno for a hands-on workshop exploring how we might rethink the classroom.

Through creative design challenges using straw and other materials, families, children and young people experimented with structure, space and nature while discovering how engineering and architecture can work together.

The workshop reflects our commitment to making engineering accessible, sparking curiosity and encouraging the next generation to think creatively about the built environment.
