Phase 3A Swindon Carriage Works Completed

We’re delighted to announce the completion of phase 3A of the Swindon Carriage Works! We’ve been working with Swindon Council over the last 5 years to transform a series of Grade II listed 1870’s railway warehouses into flexible workspace for creative and educational use.

The project required careful structural intervention within a historic fabric, including assessment and replacement of degraded masonry jack arches, complex piling work and the design of modular mezzanine system across multiple phases to suit a range of tenants.

It’s been especially rewarding to see the space brought to life, with members of Simple Works getting the opportunity to work from this beautiful co-working space we helped create!
