North London Loft Transformation

Seamless timber engineering meets home transformation

25 January 2024

We’re delighted to share Simple Works involvement with Whittaker Parson to complete Larch Loft- a bespoke additional storey added to North London mews home.

Located in Stoke Newington, the project transformed the existing home with a carefully considered new loft that brings natural light, crafted timber details and a serene, low-carbon interior to the space. Working closely with the design and construction team, Simple Works developed the structural solutions that support the new timber and structural insulated panel (SIP) construction and ensured a seamless connection with the existing building fabric.

It’s been rewarding to contribute to this thoughtful residential project that blends efficient construction, sustainable materials and sensitive approach to its urban context.
