Barbican exhibition open now
The Barbicans new exhibition exploring sound is now open and we've been supporting the wonderful Solved Workshop on two pieces.
Firstly we carried out the structural design for Heightened Lyrics by Raymond Antrobus. The piece(s) explore concepts around deafness through very striking 6 m high kites on the Lakeside Terrace. They'll be there for a few months so plenty of time to check them out.
Secondly, we helped solve an interesting last minute challenge of how to support a TV over the 'Well'. The lightweight frame supported over the balustrade avoided needing to support the TV from below.
