A thoughtful reuse of a former industrial building into a new community space
The Lifeline Community Centre in Dagenham, designed by Assemble, has reached completion.
The project transforms a former industrial building into a flexible community space for LifeLine Church and local partners, supporting a growing network of organisations working across the area.
Working with the existing structure, rather than starting anew, the design retains and adapts what was already there to create warm, usable and community-led spaces.
A strong example of thoughtful reuse and collaborative delivery, shaped by Assemble and the wider project team.
